About Us
Life Acts is an active 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing food and essential resources to people in need across San Diego and global communities in crisis. We partner with conscientious businesses, community groups, and individuals who share a mission to bring hope, relief, and practical support to vulnerable families. Each month, Life Acts serves more than 8,000 people through outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness and to ill and low-income families with children, supported by partnerships such as Feeding America and the San Diego Food Bank.

Throughout the year, we host targeted campaigns to supply critical items—such as feminine care products and bedding—to safe houses supporting survivors of human trafficking in Chula Vista, Los Angeles, and Mexico. Annually, we partner with orphanages in Mexico and collaborate with humanitarian organizations, including Samaritan’s Purse / Operation Christmas Child, to provide clothing, educational supplies, and hygiene items. We also respond to major crises and disaster relief efforts, including mission support following Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.
Our focus is to care for people facing urgent need—especially children who have been victimized or displaced and who may otherwise go without basic nutrition, safety, shelter, and school supplies. We aim not only to help families survive, but to encourage stability, healing, and a path toward a fruitful future.
All Life Acts events and goals are rooted in the love of Jesus Christ. We go beyond church walls to serve the world with a message of hope, help, healing, and peace (Matthew 28:18–20). We work alongside government and social agencies, youth organizations, community-oriented businesses, and other nonprofits to strengthen families and build lasting community and global relationships. Life Acts has been recognized by corporate, educational, healthcare, financial, social, and government entities, and has been featured in mainstream media for our impact and service.
